The toy that was once not broken

So I guess my fate is sealed, the door momentarily opened to show a slight glimmer of light giving birth to thoughts, hopes and dreams of what lies beyond the realm of the door. The next moment, it shut tight. This wasn't a chance, it was torture the best of which the Universe could give. This bitterness will remain for a while. Difficulty to gulp this down is only certain. Now to take the emergency exit and see what awaits - impending doom, eternal damnation or a consolation. This is the end of a chapter people would want to forget.

Factum est.

Out! Out! Brief candle!

And so here comes the story teller, aged by the forces of time, wrinkled not at the face or skin, but in the heart...

As per usual, there were ups and downs, but it has only been conventionality that the magnitude of the latter far greatly towered over the former. At this rate, it is only a matter of time before depression knocks the door of my conscious mind and steps in, tormenting anything that is sane, distorting order by imparting chaos. Right now, the only thing safekeeping my sanity is merely a half severed lock. If this breaks, there will be nothing left.

I have the fight in me, I used to. Now? I'm not even sure myself. Given the very little fight left within, if there is to begin with, there is only so much I can take.

Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player,
That struts and frets his hour open the stage,
And then is heard no more; it is a tale told by an idiot
Full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.

Life's good.

White

My life is currently a sheet of white paper. In a matter of months, it will either be scrunched or emerged as a portrait.

I'll be back by then to tell the story.

A satirical piece

As I apathetically aligned my eye in position of the aperture, I saw something that wasn't pleasant-a horid visage.

So, it is about time I pick up the 'pen' again in this cyberspace after such a lengthy abeyance from the writer's world. Let me just start off with a topic of the day, ridicule.

Bards of medieval times ridiculed figures through songs and poetry long before the advent of the internet. Needless to say, it is only by human nature that we find pleasure in dissing someone for our own entertainment purposes. A victim then tenaciously cling on to what is left of his dignity only to end up in dismay feeling dampened.

However, there are two ways of which sardonicism can take place. Ever heard of self ridicule? Not really? Well that is almost certain because I made that up. Nevertheless, it is possible to scoff over something absurd committed by oneself. Don't you think so? We jeer in contempt over a mishap fully driven by grudge only to realise the matter was given to birth by our very own stupid actions. Finding it hard to gulp down the reality we resort from the conventional means of emotional therapy ranging from alcoholism to a wide array of weird ways of letting it off the system. Not forgetting self-ridicule within this context.

*bitter laughs*

The fact is, it works. Put it simply, belittling oneself and laughing over your own mistakes shines a light over something that you've not been accustomed to when it comes to, you. Little did you know you re-emerge with newfound dogmatism which leads to retribution. Whether or not for vegeance or just restoring your integrity. The decision is yours to make.

Enlightened? Puzzled? Don't understand what the doughnuts I'm penning about?

Well, excuse me then. It has been awhile since my parting with the philosophical me. I find it relatively hard compared to before to convey thoughts. Rest assured though that yours truly is not facing every writer's nightmare-a writer's block but just feeling disdainful.

A trivial matter though. Nothing to be concerned about.

Good day!

Sometimes, lady luck is just a bitch

I freaking screwed my chance of doing well in my chemistry test this time.
Reason: I was lazy to use my data booklet and decided to borrow it from a friend.Apparently, his data booklet was missing a page which had information required to solve a question. Seriously, what the fuck man? Sometimes everything is just built for a disaster to occur.
Lesson1: Use your own things next time.
Lesson 2: Don't be stupid, don't be lazy, don't be dumb.
Subject content kind of heavy now. Add thereto obligations from TAYMUN equates to a very sad sad face.

Who am I?

It has been a crazy week! I have a pile of homework to attend to and have two upcoming tests. Well, I would say that this entire week had been an eye opener. Monday-Wednesday, I was with the likes of intellectually refined people for the JPA hospital attachment program. Friday-Sunday, I was exposed to a totally different scenario of speech and discussion along with verbally inclined people at Help Model United Nations Conference. This two events occupied my life for a week and almost drained every ounce of energy I had in my system. I am in desperate need to recuperate. Unfortunately, college starts tomorrow. Holy *beeps*

The ocean is just so deep and just when you thought you're almost at the bottom, you're actually nowhere near...

Blame it on the refraction of light.

Good Heavens

I am now currently cramped up in a cyber cafe, robbed off all my privacy and just finished figuring out how to fill up some stupid application forms.

Ahhh, the bliss was short lived. It is back to square again.

I am experiencing a great commotion in my internal system to process, reason and coordinate emotions as well as feelings to the extent of feeling high the first minute and a hangover the next. Anxiety, depression, anticipation, bliss, you name it. A concoction of these slapping you on the face will give you twice the aftermath of weed. I feel like tearing open my chest. Either that or just turn into a misery gut.

THIS.IS.NOT.GOOD.

I do not even have the time to finish this god damn post because I do not want to spend more than 2 bucks in a cyber cafe tonight!

This is so pathethic. But when I get home, I shall smile =)

It's TIGER Wood's year. More luck for him?

The eye of the heavens rained its gleaming crimson red beams upon a plane of lush greenery. Amidst the foliage emerged a figure on all fours with a robust build-A tiger. Its sepulchral growl turned into a menacing roar. It shook the entire woods, merely announcing its arrival, its prime.

First and foremost, best wishes to all in the year of the metal tiger! May we all prosper in longevity and exorbitance. Not forgetting achieving the utmost in whatever we partake in.

So, Chinese New Year 2010 seemed to be a whole new experience altogether of which I'm certain will remain a vestige of time mainly because this time I experienced a change of phase in life. Basically it is partly because I'm shifting to a more mature mentality or to put it simple, turning legal.

This year, I learned to appreciate home cooked food a lot. Not forgetting the company of family and friends. It is after all true that absence makes the heart grow fonder conceding to the fact that I've been away from home for the past month. Ipoh, being a haven of food will never cease to satisfy your palate and no matter where I go, no matter how much I dread to remain in this country (at times). Ipoh will forever be my roots-never forgotten.

Time is pacing too fast that we are incapable of keeping track with it. Hence, it is highly advisable for us to occasionally just stop and stare. After all, people don't just say the best things in life are the little things that are left unnoticed for the sake of gibes. Life itself was never meant to be fathomed like a set of homogeneous equations. At the end of the day, we have to gulp down the fact that our demise is inevitable. But until that day comes, we shall continue to weave our threads in time and hope that it turns out to be something beautiful in the end before being tattered by time itself. It is called living with the irony of 'the fish eating the fish' concept.

So all in all, it was a nice break from college work and I'm glad to say that I've been mentally rejuvenated and ready to face all kinds of shit life throws at me once again.

Once more, Happy Year of the Tiger and may all's well ends well!
